Fight Food Insecurity Among College Students
Student LunchBox (SLB) is a nonprofit charitable organization committed to fighting food insecurity among college students in Los Angeles, CA.
At SLB, they rescue and distribute foods and other essentials to low-income college students who otherwise cannot afford balanced meals with a mission to reduce the hardships of hunger and facilitate uninterrupted academic achievement.
Unfortunately, college students are the forgotten group when we speak of hunger. SLB was formed for this reason to spread awareness of this unspoken issue rooted in our communities. Donations will help provide collection drop-off bins where donors can contribute foods and essentials.
