Mary’s Free-Range Chickens are produced by Pitman Farms, a family business that has been raising poultry since 1954. Mary Pitman has studied nutrition for over 20 years, and is very conscious about the ingredients she uses, only sourcing pure products.
Mary’s chickens are Certified humanely raised and handled, and they are animal welfare certified through the Global Animal Partnership, in which they must meet strict standards at 5 different levels to reach certification. Through this system, they provide enriched environments and outdoor time, to help improve animal welfare and processing conditions, resulting in higher meat quality.
