MARIANGELA HILL

Board Member

Mariangela has been a Co-opportunity member for more than 10 years. She shares an interest in food, nutrition and responsible sourcing. By joining the Co-opportunity board she hopes to promote education and build awareness of food’s overall impact on communities, individuals and families. As a parent, Mariangela feels strongly about building awareness of food, its sourcing, how it’s grown, as well as exploring and understanding its diverse cultural expressions and its ability to connect communities. She looks forward to helping build community, provide learning opportunities focused on nutrition, social and economic benefits and the responsibilities of food choices and food access all with a positive focus.

She looks forward to adding value to members and the overall community by making the Co-opportunity a reliable hub of information and finding opportunities for overall community involvement which have far reaching and long-lasting positive impact on our local and neighboring communities and communities further away. She looks forward to hearing your thoughts and ideas on this too.

With a BA in Economics from USC, Mariangela has worked in motion picture distribution, intellectual property rights management and acquisitions for 20 years with time early in her career spent in financial services and film production. Currently she works in intellectual property with content and brands of an international IP treasure house. These varied experiences have led to the development of skills in analyzing issues and finding solutions through collaboration, cooperation and communication.

In her free time, she can be found volunteering, writing, painting or practicing Tetris while packing the car for another family road trip.
